Hot Buttered Gin

INGREDIENTS:

  • Melbourne Dry Gin
  • Blackberry Jam
  • Rosemary
  • The best butter you can find!
  • Optional: Juniper (we sourced from the legends at Oasis Bakery)

METHOD:

  1. Mix 1 jar of blackberry jam (standard 370-400g jar) and 4 jars of water on the stove with 50g of rosemary and an optional handful of juniper berries. Bring to a boil
  2. Simmer with the lid on for 15 minutes, allow to cool, and then strain the syrup.
  3. Mix 3 parts syrup to 1 part gin (3-month refrigerated life)
  4. Serve with a sprig of rosemary and a teaspoon of butter on the side.
